The Gold Rub Story
Gold Rub LLC was born out of a serendipitous discovery in a mine, where a simple solution for cleaning hands led to the creation of a revolutionary product. Our patented, trade secret formula harnesses the properties of gold ore. Lab-tested, Gold Rub is made of natural minerals and is gentle on the skin.
The Discovery of Gold Rub
GOLD RUB was discovered in a very special place quite by accident, near my property, when I used it to clean a pair of very grimy, dirty, calloused, and rough hands – it not only cleaned them, but it also made the hands softer, smoothing years of rough skin. It was my “aha” moment when I found out it was not only safe to use on skin (hands, feet, face) but also on hard-to clean kitchenware.

GOLD RUB has been put to the test in more than one laboratory noting all the minerals in its ingredients and nothing toxic to the skin. I named it GOLD RUB because after extensive lab testing it was discovered to have “gold” properties in the ingredients. While the location of where and how we extract and process GOLD RUB is a trade secret, the lab attests that minerals in GOLD RUB are all natural with no, zero, added chemicals or harmful microbeads/crystallines.
It was in this moment I knew that GOLD RUB needed to be shared with others seeking out an all-natural exfoliant solution to their cleansing routines. It makes me feel good help people who benefit from GOLD RUB – 100% of the hundreds of who have tried it love the immediate positive best results they ever had. Read our testimonials page!
Meet Gord
Founder of Gold Rub
I feel fortunate to be surrounded by a very creative, successful family of inventors, college professors, lawyers, civil contractors, and engineers. I, myself, have always been very creative, living in the NOW – always in the moment and looking to the success of the future. When I was told at an early age you can’t do something or that it won’t work, I approached life the opposite with a “can do” attitude for success.
My family started contracting in 1916, so it was natural for me to pursue civil engineering at university, becoming a successful general engineering contractor. When my great grandfather gave me his banjo, I became a good enough banjo player to win first place in five competitions including an Arizona State championship. I even traveled the world – a few times – including hiking the mountains of Nepal and biking across China and Vietnam. I live in Congress, Arizona in a house I built from my 5-year-old daughter’s drawing of a castle. Over the years, I have invented a few things of my own, including a successful line of banjo picks. However, my latest invention, GOLD RUB – an all-natural cleaning agent – is one of my best creations and discoveries.
